Statutory Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason. This 14-day period begins on the day you, or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the last item in your order.

How to Initiate a Return

All returns must be initiated through your order on our website. To start a return, log in to your account, locate the relevant order, and follow the returns process provided. We do not accept returns that are sent back without first being initiated through the website. This allows us to track your return and process your refund efficiently.

Conditions for Return

Because every item we sell is print-on-demand and made to order specifically for you, we can only accept returns of items that are unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact. Items that show any signs of wear, use, or damage caused after delivery will not be accepted for a refund and will be returned to you at your cost.

We strongly recommend using a tracked postage service or retaining proof of postage. We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit.

Return Costs

Where you are exercising your statutory right to cancel, the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility and is non-refundable. If the item is defective or faulty, we will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs in accordance with your statutory rights.

Refunds

We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your returned item, or within 14 days of you providing evidence that the item has been returned (whichever is sooner). The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Where the statutory right to cancel applies, we will also refund the original standard delivery charge.

If you paid via a third-party payment provider (such as PayPal, Apple Pay, or Shop Pay), the refund may take additional time to appear in your account depending on that provider's processing times. We have no control over these delays.

If the original payment method is no longer active or available, we will contact you to arrange an alternative refund method. We reserve the right to withhold a refund until we have received the returned item or proof of its return, whichever occurs first.

Partial Refunds

We may issue a partial refund where an item is returned in a condition that reduces its resale value (for example, missing tags, damaged packaging, or signs of handling). The deduction will be proportionate to the diminished value and will not exceed the total purchase price.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 14 days of our confirmation that it has been processed, please first check with your bank or payment provider. If you have done this and still have not received it, contact us at hello@habilitate.club and we will investigate.

Returns Beyond the Statutory Period

After the 14-day statutory cancellation period has expired, we will only accept returns for items that are defective or faulty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you believe your item is defective, you must initiate a return through your order on the website within 30 days of delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Defective Goods

An item is considered defective if it is damaged, misprinted, or materially flawed in a way that makes it unfit for its intended purpose at the point of delivery. Minor variations in print placement, colour, or texture that are inherent to the print-on-demand manufacturing process do not constitute a defect unless they significantly affect the appearance or usability of the item.

If your item is defective, we will offer you the choice of a full refund (including any standard delivery charge), a replacement item, or a repair where feasible. We will reimburse your reasonable return postage costs for defective goods.

Exemptions to the Right to Cancel

The 14-day statutory right to cancel does not apply to any item that has been personalised, customised, or made to your specific requirements (for example, with custom text, names, images, or other unique modifications). Such items can only be returned if they are defective.
